Africans Rising is a pan-African movement uniting people and organizations across the continent to promote justice, peace, and dignity.
In a rapidly evolving digital age, the movement needed a stronger online presence to amplify its mission, foster collaboration, and engage its growing community.
The intersection of technology, social justice, and political advocacy in Africa made this project both critical and timely.
Challenge
To address these challenges, we led the design and development of a digital platform that incorporated the following features:
Custom-Built Website: A responsive, multilingual website that highlights Africans Rising’s mission, campaigns, and success stories.
Community Engagement Tools: Features like event management, newsletters, and campaign sign-ups to encourage active participation.
Content Management System (CMS): A user-friendly CMS allowing non-technical team members to update content easily.
Social Media Integration: Seamless integration with social media platforms for broader outreach.
Data Security & Privacy: Implementation of best practices for data protection to ensure user privacy and platform integrity.
Mobile-First Approach: Given Africa’s high mobile internet usage, the platform was optimized for mobile devices.
