Specialized in African issues and in the nexus of Humanitarian Development, peace and security, Patrick Esimba Ifonge has held the position of strategic communication advisor in the United Nations Resident Coordinator’s office in Burkina Faso, and communication officer – within the Africa Branch, then the West Africa regional office – for the office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights.
An ideas’ architect and disseminator, Esimba Ifonge is the publisher of a dozen books on the Congo and African issues. He co-founded the think-tank Thinking Africa and turned the organization into a sought-after think tank on African mediation and leadership in less than 5 years..
Strategist, he has shaped brands, managed international projects and developed communication and marketing strategies in the fields of media, cultural industries and business services.
An expert in communication & leadership and professional trainer, Patrick Esimba Ifonge holds a master’s degree in international communication, and a Master’s degree in Economics.
